Updates have been made to the 1570 Communication Center and free E-mail services. The details are as follows:
Important E-Mail Information
The free 1570.net E-mail service is being transitioned to 1570.com! New features include:
- Over 2 GB of storage (1570.net only offered 25 MB)
- More desirable and less mistaken .com domain name
- Faster loading, with no graphic advertising
- Improved Spam filtering
- Calendar, Contacts, and Chat
Existing users of the 1570.net E-mail service should check their account for an important E-mail explaining the process for transitioning their account to the new system.
Users without accounts on the old system are invited request an account on the 1570.com system. Be sure to include the following information:
- Desired E-mail login name
- Your full name (first and last)
- Your current E-mail address
Once your account is created, a message with a temporary password and login instructions will be sent to your current E-mail address.
1570 Communication Center
The 1570 Communication Center has been migrated to a new, faster server. In addition to the move, the script behind the site was upgraded, a new look was implemented, and several new features were added. Existing accounts were transferred during the upgrade, as were all postings. Members may now reset a forgotten password or establish a new account using an automated system. No more waiting!
